GHHSA Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority celebrates its 20th anniversary this week with three days of events, including the now traditional battle re-enactment sails of the tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Cheiftain, shown at left. Other scheduled events feature a 20th Anniversary Ball, "mortgage burning," and dance on Friday, October 6; exhibits, a sea music performance by the Shifty Sailors, and a moonlight "battle cruise" on Saturday, October 7; and two battle re-enactment sails on Sunday, October 8. Free dockside tours of the GHHSA ships and facilities in Aberdeen, Washington are available all three days. For more information, call 800-200-5239. (Photo courtesy GHHSA)
