After World War II, Chinese seafarers, many of whom risked their lives for the English people, were deported to their home country, even though many had married local women and started families. A company with access rights to the Titanic wreck has announced an expedition to salvage RMS Carpathia, the Titanic's rescue ship in 1912. [link] Carpathia was sunk by a German U-Boat in World War II.
